As the warmer weather approaches, The Inspection Boys want to let you know that there are some “spring cleaning” maintenance work to do for the exterior and interior of your home.
For the exterior, be sure to check out the roof for any damaged shingles or for rusting, cracking or leaking. Also, cleaning out your gutters and downspouts for any debris and checking for any loose hardware. Replace them if needed. Be sure to check out the deck for any waters pots or for any warping and check for loose and rusty nails and replace them if needed. Run your sprinklers and check to see if there are any damaged or broken sprinkler heads. Check your Air Conditioning unit and be sure to change out the filters if needed.
For the interior, opening your windows will improve the air flow and you can clean the dirt and dust from the winter months. Inspecting the basement and the attic for any moisture is a must and removing the unwanted moisture will improve airflow.
These are just a few things you can do to improve the quality of your home for you and your family to enjoy.
